About the Song

The day after the 2010 Olympic Games ended, I was bursting with a sense of national pride that I had never felt before. I wanted to hold on to this feeling and ensure that all Canadians could continue to experience this “new found” pride. The idea of a song came to me as the perfect way to communicate this message. Three months later, “Keep the Pride Alive/Une fierté à conserver” was recorded and ready to be shared. On June 30, 2010, the song and dance was debuted at Langley Canada Day Celebrations.
